About This Spot

Sunrise Grill welcomes you into a space that feels like a gentle morning hug in the heart of Palmer. Nestled within the Eagle Spot Hotel, this American restaurant carries a quiet, unassuming charm—one that invites you to slow down and savor simpler moments. The pace here is relaxed, the atmosphere informal yet deeply comforting, making it easy to settle in whether you’re starting your day or taking a midday pause.

The hum of friendly conversations and the warmth of genuine service create a subtle backdrop to the thoughtful, nourishing food served here. It’s the kind of place where familiar breakfast aromas mingle with something a little more personal—a touch of hominess carried through every plate. Whether you find yourself drawn to their hearty, comforting omelettes or the satisfying melt of a cheese-studded Philly, the menu leans into those everyday flavors done right, the sort you remember long after your visit.

Particularly inviting is the way the food balances generous portions with a steady, welcoming pace—a spot where large family brunches can unfold naturally and solo visits feel quietly rewarding. The space itself is unpretentious and warm, filled with the kind of easygoing energy that makes conversations flow and keeps you lingering past the first cup of coffee.

If you’re passing through Palmer with a hunger for something that feels both familiar and thoughtfully prepared, Sunrise Grill offers that blend of comfort and care. It’s a local nook where the simplest meals become shared moments, and where the joy of gathering — be it for breakfast or lunch — quietly takes center stage.

Just had breakfast here. Best friend potatoes hands down. The reindeer sausage and cheese omelette was huge! Great food. Great service. The server asked me not to mention his name "don't tell my mom"(!).

Update - 9-20-23 Our recent family brunch was very nice, with good food, excellent service, and plenty of room for the family. We had a family breakfast with a dozen folks. The service was friendly and competent, the atmosphere low-key and relaxed, and the food plentiful if a bit on the bland side of things for my taste.

Located inside the Eagle Spot Hotel, Sunrise Grill is a must visit spot for breakfast lovers. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, thanks in part to the friendly waitress who makes sure you're well taken care of. The French toast and Eggs Benedict are standout dishes, offering a perfect blend of flavors and textures that make each bite delightful. For those with a hearty appetite, the Hungry Man’s Breakfast comes highly recommended—it's a satisfying and generous option that won’t disappoint. Overall, Sunrise Grill is a great spot to start your day on a delicious note.
